ELITE SPORTS THERAPY
ELITE SPORTS THERAPY
Starting off as a Nursing assistant in college, I soon developed an interest in becoming a Medic/Firefighter. I spent 9 years with Boulder Rural Fire Dept in Boulder, CO and 6 years with Dallas County Paramedics, just outside of Des Monies, IA. I often use these experiences in treating clients. Since becoming a massage therapist and working in a PT clinic for years I have become somewhat of a 'soft tissue' specialist.
I have been a Massage Therapist since 2006 graduating from a small school in Iowa. I started working in a popular clinic near downtown Des Moines, IA with a few other therapists. Moving into Sports Massage in 2010, my wife and I moved back to Colorado, a "sports mecca", where I started working with Elite and Pro athletes of all kinds.
I love to travel and when some of my professional athletes started requesting that I go to Kona, HI for the Ironman World Championship I soon found myself on a plane. I have been going there every year working on some of the best athletes in the world. In 2018, I spend about a month a year in HI working with the 4 time Ironman World Champion, Daniela Ryf. I also attend the AMTA National Massage Conference yearly to keep my skills up, learn new techniques and spend time with colleagues and mentors.
